  5. Provides more wallpaper and improved user control over the wallpaper
  6. selection.  The new wallpaper control features include:

  8. - ALT-W: Changes the current wallpaper display at any time.
  9. - ALT-S: Wallpaper slide show, any key stops the show.
  10. - ALT-F: Fixes the current wallpaper until further notice.
  11. - ALT-R: Changes wallpaper selection to RANDOM mode.

  13. Once a wallpaper is fixed, it remains fixed (even between sessions)
  14. until wallpaper is re-fixed or until random mode is selected.

  18. Provides a pulldown menu for the above commands.  To bring up the menu,
  19. type F1 or click at upper left.

  25. display at upper right to select icon from page.

  29. Adds rudimentary personal info management.  A simple address book has
  30. been added and it is now possible to attach notes to any given day on
  31. the calendar.  To attach notes, simply click on the day or press <Enter>
  32. to attach to the red highlighted day.  Arrows keys now move the red
  33. highlight.  PgUp/PgDn now changes the month, Ctrl-PgUp/PgDn changes the
  34. year.  DOS EDIT is used to create the free-form notes file.  It is
  35. assumed that EDIT is located somewhere inside your PATH.

  39. Microsoft's expanded memory manager provided with DOS 5, EMM386.EXE,
  40. will significantly degrade video display performance with IconDOS and
  41. any other video intensive applications.  When added to your CONFIG.SYS
  42. setup, this driver runs your Intel 386 processor in a 'virtual' mode
  43. which results in the loss of display speed.
